Haven House provides the following free and confidential services:
Individual Advocacy
- Support, education and information on topics of domestic and sexual violence, Dating Violence, Stalking, and trafficking.
- Resources and referrals to other service providers to financial, housing legalism counseling assistance
- Bilingual translation services for Hispanic domestic and sexual violence victims
Support Groups
- Weekly Peer support group for those who have experienced domestic and sexual violence
- Call the haven House Wayne office at 402-375-5433 for meeting time Child care is provided
Criminal Justice Advocacy and Resources
- Advocacy and accompaniment during both criminal and civil proceedings regarding domestic violence and sexual assault
- This includes court hearings and interviews with law enforcement and district attorneys
- Assistance in filling out and filing protection orders, victim impact statements, etc.
- Information and referrals to legal experts and law enforcement agencies
- Education on the criminal justice system
Shelter Services
- Safe confidential shelter facility for those fleeing from Domestic and sexual violence
- One-on-one advocacy with case manager to assess your situation, evaluate your options, and live a life free of violence
Protection Orders
- Forms for Domestic Abuse, Harassment and Sexual Assault protection orders are available at the Haven House office
- Trained advocates can provide assistance with forms and filing process
- Provides support at the protection orders hearings if requested
