Interns/Volunteers

Interns and Volunteers are an essential part of the efforts of Haven House.

Volunteers can help with a range of activities from office upkeep to outreach events

Volunteers undergo extensive training, which covers the topics of domestic violence and sexual assault. This training will better equip you to serve as a Haven House volunteer, and is 50 hours long. Training will be complete on your own time.

Student Volunteer Note: If you only need 10 hours for a class, please note you will have to go through an interview process and the 50 hours of training. Training will be on your own time before you come in. This does not promise you will work with clients.

Internships are available for summer, fall, or spring semesters and are perfect for Human Services Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or Criminal Justice majors.

Apply TODAY by filling out the intern/volunteer application, calling, emailing, or stopping by one of our offices.

Once we receive your volunteer application, a staff member will be in contact with you to discuss the intern/volunteer process.
