Deputy Mark Dishaw has been a Deputy Sheriff with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office since 2002. Prior to law enforcement, he was a probation officer for 4 years after graduating from Creighton University in 1997 with a B.A. in Psychology.
In 2007, Mark was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Bureau, initially tasked with general investigations. In 2009, Mark was designated as a Cyber Crimes Investigator and joined the Omaha FBI Cyber Crimes / Child Exploitation Task Force. His caseload currently revolves around child exploitation investigations and conducting digital media examinations for his agency. In 2010, Mark earned his designation as a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) through the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) and has attended additional computer forensics training to maintain the certification.
He is married and has one daughter and likes muscle cars, jet skiing, and other outdoor activities.
